Thomas Pomarico
Biography
Thomas Pomarico is an artist and educator raised in Indiana and Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan, where he was a collegiate athlete on the university’s football team, before working professionally in film production in New Orleans. He later earned his Master of Fine Arts from Montana State University. Pomarico is currently based in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he teaches at Northern Arizona University. His practice investigates the circulation of images within contemporary media, examining how they construct perception and shape systems of meaning. Alongside his teaching, he maintains an active studio practice and exhibition record.
